Weird new wetsuits

A shark repellent wetsuit and another one with "wings" - useful inventions or crazy ideas?

Is there a shark repellent wetsuit? The "Surf Lady", Veronica Grey had an idea about a special pattern which would repel sharks. She thinks the black and white zebra print is the answer because it resembles the sharks' lethal enemy, the banded sea snake. If there are any animals which these predators afraid of, their pattern will defend surfers or divers? No need to use any bulky electronic devices, just don the shark repellent wetsuit and your safety is guaranteed ? Even the manufacturer, Boz wetsuit doesn't talk about 100% guarantee but who knows, maybe this stylish stuff would save the life of a surfer someday.

The another weird wetsuit called Oceanwings and designed by Guillaume Binard. This neoprene stuff seems futuristic, and because of the "wings" only freedivers can use it - it would be funny to wear it under a BCD. For them it allows an underwater flight experience but to be honest most of the ordinary people would enjoy only a few seconds long "flight" without proper training in freediving. So don't expect too much underwater encounters with flying men but this suit is great for making cool videos...
