The newest HERO3 will be even better. The first stunning videos were really impressive so many GoPro fans wanted to know more about the "new guy in town". First of all, it's even smaller than the previous generation! (Certainly it means you can't use the old waterproof housings.) The manufacturer's website tells more about its advanced features: waterproof to 197' (60m), capable of capturing ultra-wide 1440p 48fps, 1080p 60 fps and 720p 120 fps video and 12MP photos at a rate of 30 photos per second. The new sharper lens and the less distortion sounds a real improvement, but they redesigned the sound recording as well. The built-in Wi-Fi means it can be controlled by a Wi-Fi remote or a smartphone as well.
The GoPro HERO3 would be a great camera for those divers who want to take a small but smart stuff under water. Maybe only those aren't too happy with the fantastic new features of HERO3 who recently bought complete HERO2 systems with Wi-Fi BacPac, Remote and all the other great stuffs which became outdated...
